A bit About Our Champagne d’Argent:.
The amazing Champagne d’Argent bunnies are born black and change to beautiful silver as they grow. They are super sweet and docile, easy to handle, and they make great pets or breeding stock. They are a great meat breed and their unique coats make gorgeous pelts.
The Champagne D’Argent is considered as possibly the oldest recorded rabbit breed around today, with a commercial breeding history that goes to the 17th century. As mentioned above this beautiful rabbit has been raised for fur, pet and meat with a good meat to bone ration. The Champagne D’Argent club calls this breed the “Black Angus” of rabbit meats. A relatively docile rabbit and good mothers makes this a wonderful breed to keep.
