Amazing Organic Apple Event

Come enjoy apple trees exploration at our young permaculture farm and orchard. We will visit the orchard, identify apple tress and learn how they thrive. Discover the most delicious apple cultivars that are also cold tolerant and disease resistant varieties for our Canadian climate.
Children will learn:
- life cycle anatomy of apples and apple tree
- learn wonderful french songs about apples
- watch puppet show about apple harvest and preservation
- make and enjoy delicious apple muffins together
- will taste favorite apple varieties
- will cook and enjoy savory apple dishes
Day Schedule:
11-12pm: Animal care visits
12-1pm: Orchard visit, observation of apple trees, live cycle, apple anatomy
1-2pm: Circle time with French songs, story puppet show
2-3pm: Baking and enjoying muffins and savoury apple dishes
3-4pm: Performing farm chores together
